FAQ
Straight answers for service businesses.
Who Flux is for, what each service does, how scope works, and what we do and do not promise. Short, answer-first, no fine print.
Who Flux is for
Who builds websites for HVAC companies in Florida?
Flux Labs Agency LLC, a family-owned studio in Port St. Lucie, builds conversion-first websites for HVAC companies and other service businesses across Florida: click-to-call in the first mobile viewport, service-area pages built to rank, and every inquiry wired into the CRM with its source.
What kind of businesses does Flux work with?
Service businesses only — HVAC, roofing, plumbing, electrical, general contractors, pools, pest control, and similar trades. Owner-led, high-ticket jobs, existing demand, and someone with authority to change how inquiries are handled.
Is Flux a good fit for a small two-truck shop?
Yes, if the shop already has demand. A small shop usually starts with one fix — the website's first viewport or missed-call text-back — scoped from the audit. The system grows only if the leak map says it should.
The five services
What is AEO for contractors?
Answer Engine Optimization: making a contractor the business ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews cite when someone asks who to hire for a trade in an area. Flux does it with schema, entity clarity, question-format content, and a tracked prompt set in Peec AI.
What does an AI automation agency for contractors install?
Missed-call text-back, speed-to-lead replies, AI receptionist-style qualification, routing and escalation, estimate and no-show follow-up, and review requests after the job — configured in your CRM and tested against written scenarios.
What is the difference between SEO and Local SEO?
SEO earns organic positions for service and service-area pages on your site. Local SEO earns map-pack visibility through the Google Business Profile — categories, photos, reviews, and citation consistency. They reinforce the same service areas and Flux runs them together or separately.
What is the Booked Work System?
The umbrella that connects the five services: Capture (website, GBP, search), Respond (AI automation), Book (CRM stages, follow-up, measurement). One measured path from inquiry to booked estimate, inspection, or dispatch.
Scope and starting points
Do I need the whole system or can I start with one fix?
Start with one fix. Every service installs alone and connects later. The audit shows where the leak is biggest; that is where scope begins. Many clients start with only AI call handling or only the website.
How is an engagement scoped?
From the audit — your call volume, your job values, your service area. You receive a proposal built on your numbers, presented privately. There is no rate card on this site by design.
Can I keep my current marketing vendor?
Yes. AI automation, GBP management, and AEO tracking install alongside an existing marketing vendor. Flux scopes only what the audit says is leaking.
Process and ownership
What is the Revenue Leak Audit?
A free, founder-led, 15-minute call that traces how a call becomes a job in your shop. You leave with a leak map, an inquiry-source inventory, and the single fix that matters most — even if it isn't something Flux sells.
What does “acceptance-tested” mean?
Every installed rule runs against written scenarios — a missed call, an after-hours form, a no-show, a review request — before handoff. You sign the checklist or we document and fix the defect.
Who owns the website, CRM, and Google Business Profile?
You do. Domain, code, content, CRM account, GBP, analytics, and tracking accounts stay in your name. If we stop working together, everything keeps working.
Does Flux guarantee rankings or leads?
No. Flux promises the agreed installation, testing, documentation, and handoff. Rankings, lead volume, booked jobs, and revenue depend on the market and on your team's follow-through.
Florida and the Treasure Coast
Where is Flux Labs located?
Port St. Lucie, Florida, on the Treasure Coast. Flux serves Port St. Lucie, Stuart, Fort Pierce, Palm City, Jensen Beach, Vero Beach, and service businesses across Florida.
Does Flux work with service businesses outside the Treasure Coast?
Yes. The systems are configured remotely in accounts you own. Local knowledge helps most for Treasure Coast SEO and GBP work; AI automation and websites are built for any Florida service business.
Service-specific questions live on each page: Websites · AI Automation · SEO · AEO · Local SEO & GBP.
